Le Fanal is a restaurant located on the promenade of Roquebrune Cap-Martin, an ancient medieval village between Menton and the Principality of Monaco. The restaurant is appreciated for its cuisine, based on fish specialities, and offers its customers a large panoramic terrace, only a few steps away from the beach.
Le Fanal did not have any inner seats available, meaning that, in case of bad weather, the terrace could not be used – thus obtaining a loss of profits. The owner contacted KE’s PMO Department – which is specialised in tailor-made projects for the Ho.Re.Ca world – to consider a solution that had to be at the same time functional and in line with the furniture’s modern, colourful style.
A Gennius A3 pergola awning was chosen, with an Inver black aluminium structure and a white PVC fabric. In order to provide even more shelter from bad weather and strong winds, Vertika side closings were installed, in a transparent Crystal fabric.
Le Fanal’s owner reports that he is very pleased with the result: thanks to this new covered dining area, he will no longer have to be concerned about weather variations as well as being able to maximise his seasonal profits.
