Installed products: n. 2 KHEOPE shading sails equipped with motorized movement with anemometer, white Dacron fabric, coupled with 7 mirror-polished stainless-steel poles, one of which is custom-made and connects the others.
We are located in Mongerbino, in the province of Palermo, in a suggestive location overlooking the sea and the famous Arco Azzurro, “the rock monument”, one of the most characteristic views of Sicily.
Here is Canopia Restaurant, recently taken over by a young couple, who – to make the place more contemporary – has started a renovation coordinated by Arch. Toia. In particular, the works involved the magnificent terrace, an exclusive setting overlooking the sea, but too sunny during summer months for enjoying an aperitif.
To find a design solution that would allow shading the outdoor area, the designer turned to the KE Store PAT F.lli Di Salvo in Bagheria, Palermo, which immediately suggested the installation of two KHEOPE shading sails from KE’s SAILS range. Inspired by the sea, they respond perfectly to the context in which they are located and fit perfectly into any architectural scenario, thanks to their light and elegant lines.
Particular attention is also paid to the use of materials and technology, also of nautical derivation. The chosen configuration includes KHEOPE in white Dacron – a fabric that stands out for its qualities of protection from the sun, resistance to atmospheric agents, wear and salt. The two sails are also equipped with motorized movement with anemometer, which ensures automatic closing in case of strong wind.
The final result, of absolute prestige, met the customers’ needs: sitting in the shadow of KHEOPE, customers get excited and almost have the sensation of sailing on a sailboat.
Choosing KE products to increase well-being in the outdoor habitat, in accommodation facilities, bars and restaurants as in this case, or in residential environments, represents an excellent investment that allows business or home owners to enhance their outdoor spaces, making them comfortable, functional and elegant.
