The Roccamare Resort is a prestigious tourist accommodation in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, on Castiglione della Pescaia’s seafront, in the province of Grosseto.
In the middle of a luxuriant pinewood, that stretches for miles from Punta Ala to dell’Uccellina mountains, the resort consists of two buildings for guests as well as villas and private apartments.
The terrace bar area belonging to one of the structures has been recently renovated; it is usually used to serve breakfast and for evening cocktails.
The designer believed that the right solution to shelter a wide area without interfering with the surrounding green landscape was the Kheope sail. The Kheope sail stands out for its light, minimal lines; in this case, they were appreciated because they do not alter the typical sea setting.
With a sand-coloured Dacron fabric (this shade can give more balance and integrity than the “classic” white, in relation to the environmental context), Kheope is characterized by a unique motorised movement, equipped with a wind sensor that ensures its automatic closing in case of strong wind. Thanks to its essential design and versatility, Kheope is the perfect solution to give both elegance and proper shelter in public spaces and contract businesses (hotels, cafés, swimming pools, marinas, etc.).
